Our Barley Grass Juice Powder is grown on certified USDA organic farms located in the rugged desert in the high mountain valleys of the West (in the USA), based on rich volcanic soils high in metabolites and rare earth elements. The presence of these metabolites and hard-to-find earth elements makes the soil ideal for crops full of minerals and
nutrients (and a high nutrient product). It is sustainably grown outdoors with natural sunlight at ambient temperatures to deliver high quality barley grass shoots, without the use of synthetic and artificial chemicals, pesticides or fertilisers.

The planting and harvesting schedules are followed according to best organic practices and to ensure that crops are harvested at their nutritional peak, while still gluten-free. The shoots are harvested young when nutrients are at their highest levels. Once harvested it is immediately cold pressed to ensure optimal nutritional benefits, resulting in 100% pure organic juice powder that's uniquely loaded with health-boosting nutrients. It is immediately juiced to avoid oxidation, maintain the nutritional value, and freshness of the product. Low-processing air drying temperatures are used to dry the product and retain the nutritional value of our barley grass juice powder.

Barley is an annual grass with many different stages of growth. In the first stages, the Barley resembles thick, lush, bright green grass. The Barley Grass leaves are harvested when they are young and vibrant at about 12 inches tall. The reason the Barley grass leaves are harvested at about 12 inches is because this is when the young Barley leaf blades have reached their nutritional peak. After that they are cut, then juiced and powdered.
