I first came across Medical Medium information around 8 years ago. At the time, I was working in a clinic when another nutritionist dismissed celery juice, saying it did nothing for the body. I’d heard of people drinking it, however that was about all. Not long after, I felt a nudge from my intuition to try it for myself—7 days of celery juice, just to see. I didn’t expect much, but I gave it a go.
By day three, I noticed a real difference: my bloating was gone, my mind felt clearer, and something inside me shifted. That experience led me to read the first Medical Medium book, and suddenly things began to click. I remembered having EBV as a teenager, and it explained why my health had only declined over the years.
For decades, I lived with a collection of health challenges that left me exhausted, anxious, and disconnected from my own body. I battled endometriosis that brought excruciating pain; neurological symptoms like tingling and numbness on the right side of my face and tongue, tremors in my fingers, balance problems; and unsettling heart palpitations. On top of that, chronic fatigue and anxiety weighed me down daily, and I also had to navigate a melanoma diagnosis along the way.
I was so depleted that some days, I had to parent from the floor because standing felt impossible. These experiences were not only physically draining but emotionally overwhelming.
For around two years, I went back and forth—sometimes following Medical Medium information, other times slipping back into my usual way of eating. I was always vegetarian (since age 9), however I still included some of the ‘no foods’ here and there. With my background in nutrition, I often felt torn: should I trust the evidence-based training I had been taught, or lean into this new information that resonated so deeply? At the time, I was working in an integrative oncology clinic, and that contrast only heightened my inner conflict. But when my neurological symptoms began spiralling out of control, I knew I couldn’t ignore my intuition any longer. That’s when I committed fully to the Medical Medium protocols—and I’m so grateful I did, because it completely changed my life.
Every morning, I committed to doing the Medical Medical morning cleanse (Lemon Water, Celery Juice and the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie) and was fully committed to only eating healing foods, and over time I began noticing real shifts: more energy, clearer focus, less anxiety, and a return of vitality I hadn’t felt in years. These changes gave me hope that true healing was possible.
Now at 42 years old, I feel better than I felt 10 years ago and have healed mostly all of the above. I still am working on adenomyosis and TMJ, however I am on the road to healing these too.
Through my own healing, I discovered just how powerful food could be, but I also realised how hard it was to find products I could truly trust. Too often, powders contained hidden fillers or anti-caking agents, were sourced in unclear ways, or were priced out of reach. I knew that if I was going to heal, I needed absolute confidence in what I was putting into my body. This frustration became fuel for my mission. I wanted to create a brand that not only offered 100% pure ingredients but also did so with transparency, integrity, and care for the Earth. That dream became Puresia. Now, what started as a personal healing journey has become a mission: to provide healing foods that can help others experience the same renewal I did. For me, Puresia isn’t just about selling products, it’s about sharing hope, healing, and a way to realign with yourself through food. It’s about helping others experience the same healing I have, and still am doing.
So just like that, with my dream of changing the health food industry for good, something magical was created. Puresia was born.
Welcome to healing beyond the surface.
